Who we are…
At my essence, I am a connector. I bring people together through curiosity and care, creating spaces where others can soften, explore, and feel at home in themselves.
The River’s Thread grew from the belief that has shaped my work for more than 20 years, that creativity grows when people feel supported, seen, and free to follow their own curiosity. My background spans Pilates, dance, yoga, tai chi, somatic practice, and writing. I have taught movement across the world, lived in Italy and Spain the US and the UK. I’ve guided retreats shaped by beauty and history, and built a studio in Hudson where people come to reconnect with themselves. Over time I have learned that the principles that strengthen a body also strengthen a creative life.
I seek out teachers, writers, artists, and thinkers whose mastery is matched by their generosity, and invite them to collaborate. Each offering becomes a shared creation shaped by everyone involved. There is no prerequisite. You only need to be curious.
What we offer is simple. Time. Space. Support. Guidance when needed. Freedom when that is what serves best. A place where you can follow the thread of your own imagination in the company of others who are doing the same.
I would be honored to welcome you in.
